Consultancies and Technology Centres in Extremadura Strengthen Alliances to Boost Regional Innovation
On 14 November, the European Projects Office organised a working session that brought together regional consultancies and key actors from the Extremadura System of Science, Technology, and Innovation (SECTI). This event marked a milestone in building synergies to foster innovative projects and enhance regional competitiveness.
Renowned technology centres such as CICYTEX, CIIAE, FUNDESALUD, CTAEX, COMPUTAEX, CCMIJU, and UEx, among others, participated. On the consultancy side, VECTOR ARRAM, RESOLUT, EOLAS, INNOGESTIONA, and PICARAZUS were among the contributors.
The session included a series of brief presentations (pitching) from each entity, highlighting their capabilities, areas of expertise, and collaboration proposals. This was followed by a group activity titled “Where Are We Coming From, and Where Are We Going?”, where participants reflected on current challenges, collaboration opportunities, and strategic objectives for the next steps.
Attendees emphasised the value of these initiatives in aligning interests, building trust, and promoting the development of joint projects in areas such as sustainability, health, digitalisation, and agricultural technology. The discussions paved the way for new commitments and pilot projects that will strengthen Extremadura’s innovation landscape.
