PATHFINDER CHALLENGES – Nature inspired alternatives for food packaging and films

The Iberian Center for Research in Energy Storage is preparing a proposal for the Horizon Europe EIC Pathfinder Challenge, focusing on developing nature-inspired alternatives for food packaging and agricultural films. We aim to replace fossil-carbon-based plastics with bio-based materials, improving biodegradability and reducing energy consumption. We seek partners in the food packaging industry who are willing to test our future materials for producing bio-based films and/or containers for food applications using their developed or existing technology for food packaging production.
