Information Event: R&D&I Funding Opportunities for Animal Health
On the morning of Wednesday, June 12, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Cáceres hosted an information session under the R&D&I Internationalization TE Project. The event aimed to:
- Present the funding call “Supporting the Future of Animal Health and Welfare”, an initiative by the European Partnership for Animal Health and Welfare, to as many researchers and other potential SECTI stakeholders as possible.
- Encourage the engagement and development of a high-quality regional proposal supported by OPE-SECTI (European Projects Office of the Extremadura Science, Technology, and Innovation System).
Event Outcome
As a result, one of the attending research groups requested OPE-SECTI’s analysis to explore the potential capitalization of a project they had prepared for the National Research Plan, which involved the participation of companies within the consortium.
This initiative highlights OPE-SECTI’s pivotal role in aligning regional research efforts with European funding opportunities, fostering collaboration between academia and industry, and driving innovative projects in the field of animal health and welfare.
