WORKSHOP ON EUROPEAN RESEARCH UPDATES RELEVANT TO EXTREMADURA
26 September – Cáceres, Technological Institute for Ornamental Rocks and Construction Materials (INTROMAC)
9:00 AM – 2:45 PM
The OPE-SECTI office, managed by FUNDECYT-PCTEX and the University of Extremadura, aims to promote the internationalisation of the Extremadura science and technology ecosystem through participation in the European research framework programme and other competitive international R&I initiatives.
In 2024, INTROMAC celebrates its 25th anniversary with a series of activities connecting the centre with society and the companies in its sector. This milestone highlights its collaboration with other key actors of the Extremadura Science, Technology, and Innovation System (SECTI) by opening its laboratories, units, and departments to the public. Over its 25 years, INTROMAC has advanced cutting-edge research lines that it seeks to share with society to emphasise its achievements and foster synergies that enhance competitiveness and innovation, projecting innovation from Extremadura to the world.
To bring together those interested in the global positioning of regional R&I and to commemorate INTROMAC’s 25th anniversary with SECTI stakeholders, a comprehensive agenda has been prepared to discuss updates to international programmes.
Key highlights include presentations on new opportunities for regional entities within Horizon Europe Partnerships and tools and strategies for managing European projects and coordinating international consortia, responding to feedback from SECTI management teams collected by OPE-SECTI.
Additionally, the public launch of the new website of the European Projects Office of the Extremadura Science and Technology System (OPE-SECTI) will take place. The site will provide up-to-date access to partner searches, dissemination of relevant calls, access to international collaboration profiles, and an updated calendar of events and activities offered by this public regional service office.
The event is open to companies and regional entities interested in participating in collaborative European projects or improving their skills in both the proposal and implementation phases of projects. Free registration is required →
